Investor Conference - Poznań

On October 19, 2022, a conference was held for Polish companies interested in investing in Brandenburg. It was jointly organized by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), an investment agency that supports international entrepreneurs in establishing a representative office in Germany and developing their business activities on the German market, Wirtschaftsförderung Brandenburg (WFBB), which is the point of contact for investors, resident companies and technology-oriented start-ups in the state of Brandenburg, and Business Location Network (BLN), a network of institutions that support the economic development of East Brandenburg.

The participants were welcomed by Mr. Christoph Ralf Garschynski,, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Poznań, followed by Dr. Steffen Kammradt, Managing Director of WFBB.         Mr. Udo Sellhast (GTAI), Mr. Maciej Monkosa (WFBB) and Mr. Aleksander Buwelski (BLN) gave presentations. Important speakers and participants of the panel discussion were representatives of companies that have located their investments in East Brandenburg - Dr. Magdalene Laabs, Managing Director of Rolbatch GmbH, Mr. Dariusz Stefanski, Managing Director of PCC Intermodal GmbH and Mr. Piotr Witt, Technical Sales Manager, Curtiss-Wright, Metal Improvement Company Inc.

The city of Schwedt/Oder was represented by the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Silvio Moritz.

In addition to the official speeches, many interesting conversations took place behind the scenes.
